Activation:

1. Powder bag
 Cut open the supplied sachet K2 (component 2) on the side and carefully fill it into the bottle K1 (component 1).
2. Shake
 Close the bottle tightly and shake for about 10 seconds.
3. Let them react
Allow the solution to react for 90 minutes at room temperature, protected from sunlight.
 You now have a ready-to-use chlorine dioxide solution (≤ 3%) for disinfection. Please enter the activation date in the appropriate field on the bottle label.

Safe and worry-free use for drinking water treatment.

A highly effective and resource-saving disinfectant for the sustainable control of bacteria, fungi, algae, and viruses in drinking water. Based on a special process, OSAVITA® CDL also combats dangerous Legionella bacteria, among others. Furthermore, it offers numerous advantages in use and handling. It is activated by activating the two components and is only required prior to use. After activation, a 0.3% chlorine dioxide solution is created for disinfection.


No byproducts such as chlorates or perchlorates in drinking water.

Unlike other chlorine-based disinfection processes, its use does not release any halogenated substances such as trihalogen compounds (THMs), chlorophenols, AOX compounds, or chloramines into drinking water. Reactions with primary, secondary, and quaternary amines are excluded.

Due to the optimal reaction conditions of our 2-component manufacturing process, neither chlorates nor perchlorates are produced during the formation of chlorine dioxide.

    Was genau ist OSAVITA® CDL 2-Komponenten?

    Hierbei handelt es sich um ein spezielles Chlordioxid-Konzentrat als sicheres 2-Komponenten System. Dieses wird hauptsächlich als Desinfektionsmittel von Trinkwasser, wasserführenden Systemen (z.B. Leitungen oder Frischwassertanks), zur Biofilmentfernung und Legionellenbekämpfung verwendet.

    Wo wird OSAVITA® CDL eingesetzt?

    OSAVITA® CDL als bewährtes und zulässiges Desinfektionsverfahren wird bereits in vielen Bereichen der Wasseraufbereitung eingesetzt.
    Gesamte Trinkwassersysteme in Wohn- und Gebäudekomplexen, bei Wassertanks in Booten oder Caravans, Trinkwassersprudler, Whirlpools, Rohrleitungen uvm.

    Wie wird das Produkt aktiviert?

    OSAVITA® CDL wird erst unmittelbar vor dem Einsatz zusammengemischt und daraus das Desinfektionskonzentrat (Chlordioxid < 0,3%) hergestellt. Wesentliche Vorteile bei diesem Verfahren: Schnelle und einfache Aktivierung erst vor Gebrauch. Dadurch ergibt sich eine lange Haltbarkeit der nicht aktiven Substanzen von bis zu 4 Jahren, sowie ein kostengünstiger Versand (da kein Gefahrgut).

    1. Sachet Beutel aufschneiden

    Pulverkomponente (OSAVITA® CDL K2) in die Flüssigkeit (OSAVITA® CDL K1) geben.

    2. Schütteln

    Flasche verschließen und ca. 10 Sekunden gut schütteln.

    3. Reagieren lassen

    Die Lösung für 90 min bei Zimmertemperatur, geschützt vor Sonneneinstrahlung reagieren lassen.
    Nach dieser Zeit haben Sie eine einsatzfertige Chlordioxidlösung (<0,3%) zur Desinfektion.
 Bitte das Aktivierungsdatum in das entsprechende Feld auf dem Etikett eintragen.

    Bei Kanistersystem: Pulverkomponente (OSAVITA® CDL K2) in die Flüssigkeit (OSAVITA® CDL K1) füllen. Den im Set enthaltenen, schwarzen Entgasungs-Verschluss auf diesen Kanister schrauben. Anschließend gut schütteln. 
Die Lösung für 90 min bei Zimmertemperatur, geschützt vor Sonneneinstrahlung reagieren lassen.


    Lagerung

    Nach der Aktivierung das Produkt gut verschlossen kühl und dunkel lagern. (4-10°C)

    Ist die Wirksamkeit von OSAVITA® CDL von Laboren bestätigt?

    Das Produkt wurde gemäß folgender Wirksamkeitsprüfungen getestet und als wirksam benannt:

    DIN EN 1276 (Chemical disinfectants and antiseptics – Quantitative suspension test for the evaluation of bactericidal activity of chemical disinfectants and antiseptics used in food, industrial, domestic and institutional areas)

    Dosierempfehlung für eine Grundsanierung & Biofilmentfernung gemäß DVGW W 291 (Behälter und Rohrleitungen)

    Mittels einer Stoßdesinfektion oder Grundsanierung wird der hartnäckige Biofilm komplett zerstört und abgebaut. Eine Stoßdesinfektion dient zur schnellen Sanierung von Rohrleitungen, Wassertanks u.ä.
    Vorbereitung und Vorgehensweise:

    Vor der Desinfektion müssen evtl. vorhandene Filter entfernt oder überbrückt werden. Gerätekühlung, Boiler oder UV-Desinfektion unbedingt abschalten.

    1. Zuerst den entsprechenden Wassertank oder die Leitung mit Frischwasser auffüllen.

    2. Die erforderliche Menge aktivierte Lösung dem Wasser zugeben.

    3. Sämtliche Entnahmestellen öffnen, bis Geruch wahrnehmbar ist

    4. Eine Einwirkzeit von ca. 12 Std. einhalten, je nach Zustand (Richtwert DVGW)

    5. Anschließend das Wasser ablassen und mit Frischwasser befüllen und gründlich durch spülen

    6. Den Tank oder Wasserkreislauf erneut mit frischem Wasser füllen.

    7. (Bei starken Verunreinigungen ggf. Vorgang wiederholen)

    8. Nach diesem Vorgang mit der Permanentdesinfektion fortfahren. Dies ist die effektivste Methode um Legionellen und Biofilme zuverlässig, schnell und nachhaltig zu bekämpfen.


    Dosierempfehlung für Grundsanierung gemäß DVGW W 291 (Behälter und Rohrleitungen):


    Wassermenge: 100 L

    Dosiermenge CDL (aktiviert): 210 ml

    ClO2 Konzentration nach Zugabe: 6 mg/L

Alle Angaben sind Richtwerte. Tatsächliche Dosierung richtet sich nach Verkeimungsgrad.

    Dosierempfehlung für eine Permanentdesinfektion

    Unter Permanentdesinfektion oder auch Dauerdesinfektion versteht man die kontinuierliche Zugabe einer für den Anwendungsfall erforderlichen Menge an Chlordioxid in das Wasser.
    Die aktivierte Desinfektionslösung direkt dem Wasser zugeben.

    1 ml OSAVITA® CDL auf 15 Liter Trinkwasser bzw. bei Dosierung mittels der im Lieferumfang enthaltenen Pipette:
    ca. 2 Tropfen pro Liter Trinkwasser.

    Die Höchstkonzentration nach Abschluss der Aufbereitung darf max. 0,2 mg/L betragen.
    Die Desinfektion mittels einer mengenproportional gesteuerten Dosieranlage ist hierbei je nach Einsatzbereich zwingend vorgeschrieben.
    (7 ml OSAVITA® CDL auf 100 L Wasser - Richtwert nach DVGW).

    Nachdosierung / erneute Anwendung:
    Das desinfizierte Trinkwasser ist nur bedingt über einen längeren Zeitraum lagerfähig und auf die Dauer nicht gegen eine Wiederverkeimung geschützt. Wenn Sie das Wasser somit über mehrere Tage oder Wochen lagern möchten, ist eine Konservierung des Wassers empfehlenswert. Eine einmalige Nachdosierung von OSAVITA® CDL in bereits desinfiziertes Wasser ist möglich.
