Colloidal silver is also frequently used by cosmetic manufacturers as an ingredient in creams, makeup, lotions, or powders, claiming to produce an antiseptic product. Colloidal silver is also available in plasters, wound dressings, and bandages that contain silver. Colloidal silver is an extremely finely ground silver metal. The individual microparticles are also referred to as "nanosilver." The particles are dissolved and mixed in ultrapure water using a special application process. Additional information: A high PPM number in colloidal silver solutions does not necessarily indicate higher or better quality, as some suppliers claim.
