Effective use for drinking water treatment.

A highly effective and resource-saving disinfectant for the sustainable control of bacteria, fungi, algae, and viruses in drinking water. Based on a special process, OSAVITA® CDL also combats dangerous Legionella bacteria, among others.


No byproducts such as chlorates or perchlorates in drinking water.

Unlike other chlorine-based disinfection processes, its use does not release any halogenated substances such as trihalogen compounds (THMs), chlorophenols, AOX compounds, or chloramines into drinking water. Reactions with primary, secondary, and quaternary amines are excluded.

Due to the optimal reaction conditions of our manufacturing process, neither chlorates nor perchlorates are produced during the formation of chlorine dioxide.

Keep out of reach of children. Do not breathe dust or mist. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF SWALLOWED: Rinse mouth. DO NOT induce vomiting. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER/doctor. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. Dispose of contents/container according to medical advice. Note: Read enclosed instructions before use.

Classification for activated solution:
Causes serious eye irritation. Precautionary statements: If medical advice is needed, have product container or label at hand. Keep out of reach of children. Read label before use. Wash thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists: Get medical advice/attention. Note: A gas phase containing 3 vol% chlorine dioxide will form above the solution. Chlorine dioxide gas is classified as an irritant and very toxic to aquatic life. This must be taken into account when handling.
